Kacey Marshall Matthews, M. Ed., CALT, has been in education for over 10 years with experience in teaching Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, reading resource, and gifted classes. Residing in Madison, Mississippi with her husband and three children, Kacey serves as the resident dyslexia therapist of St. Anthony Catholic School (PreK4-6th grade) and regularly consults with St. Joseph Catholic School (7th-12th grade). A graduate of Millsaps College with a B.A. in Elementary Education, Kacey received her M.Ed. in Dyslexia Therapy from Mississippi College. Kacey has previously presented at Whole Schools Initiative (WSI) state conferences, as well as the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) national conference, on infusing the arts into education. Currently, she presents on such topics as advocacy, literacy strategies and creating assessments for all learners for local and regional ALTA and dyslexia symposiums. Kacey is a member of the International Dyslexia Association and the Academic Language Therapy Association.
